Silimed – Sientra
Designed to augment, correct or reconstruct the breast. They are presented in several types, to meet the needs of each surgeon. They present smooth, textured or polyurethane foam coated surface, oval or round base, anatomical, conical, spherical or natural profile, inferior, medial or superior pole and low, moderate, high, extra high, super high or single projection.
Mammary Implant – Smooth Surface
Thin low bleed silicone-elastomer shell, smooth-surface filled with silicone gel. Provided in the round base with two projections: high and moderate.
Mammary Implant – Polyurethane Foam Coated Surface – Pitanguy/ Rebello
Made of a low-bleed, silicone-elastomer envelope filled with high-performance Biodesign silicone gel and coated with polyurethane foam. There is statistical proof that this is the surface with the lowest rate of capsular contracture over time.
It is presented with round and oval bases; in conical, spherical, natural and anatomical profiles; in the medium, inferior and superior poles; and in low, moderate, high, extra-high, superior-high and single projections.
Mammary Implant – Anatomical Shape – Superior Pole
Following the international trend, this implant displays a closer approximation to the breast shape, and is ideal for reconstruction, especially in the case of large breasts. Due to its superior extension, it calls for greater volumes than for round-shaped implants. The proper choice of size should be estimated by the dimensions of the base of the contralateral breast.
Textured Mammary Implant
Mammary implant filled with high-performance Biodesign silicone gel, with a low-bleed silicone elastomer envelope that presents a textured surface with open pores to lower the risk of capsular contracture.
Presented in a round base; in spherical, natural and anatomical profiles; in low, moderate, high and extra-high projections; and in the inferior, medium and superior poles.
Silimed is based in Rio, Brazil and is celebrating their 35 year in manufacturing in 2013
